What to do when a charger is blocked or occupied
Finding a charger occupied by a vehicle that is not actively charging can be frustrating. Here is what you can do.
What Stella can and cannot do
Stella cannot remotely disconnect or move vehicles parked at charging stations. We do not have the ability to physically free up a blocked charge point.
Steps you can take
Check other charge points: Most Stella locations have multiple charge points. Check if another one at the same location is available.
Report the blocked charger: Notify us via the in-app chat or email support@stellaenergy.com. Include the location and charge point number (visible on the charger screen or label).
If the vehicle is fully charged (100%): The driver should move it. If the driver is present, a polite reminder is appropriate.
For recurring issues: We work with site owners to improve enforcement at locations with frequent blocking. Your reports help us identify problem areas.
